These women are among the brightest young ladies in our state and doing admirable work every day.  Each title earns them a scholarship towards their own self improvement through higher education while further providing venue for advocacy .  Their ambitions toward the Miss New York crown are driven by a desire to achieve individual growth and make a difference in society.

Becoming A Local Titleholder
If you are between the ages of 18-24 and live, work, or go to school full-time in the state of New York, you could compete to become the next Miss New York.  That's right, you are only two steps away from the chance to capture the Miss America crown.

Local competitions include the following phases of competition: Interview, Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimwear, Talent, Onstage Question, and Evening Wear. 


Every local competition awards a scholarship to the winner and runners up.  Many give awards to those with the highest score in each category.

Nervous?  Have questions?  Email me at missny2011@missny.org. From where to find the right shoes to how much a good gown should cost, I work with interested contestants to defog the mystery of competing.  I won't charge you a dime.  Everyone deserves to be shown the ropes!
