Becoming A Local Titleholder
If you are between the ages of 18-24 and live, work, or go to school full-time in the state of New York, you could compete to become the next Miss New York. That's right, you are only two steps away from the chance to capture the Miss America crown.
Local competitions include the following phases of competition: Interview, Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimwear, Talent, Onstage Question, and Evening Wear.
Every local competition awards a scholarship to the winner and runners up. Many give awards to those with the highest score in each category.
